srx clutching

yep use 70 or 80 for corner to corner and 60 for flat out hauling on the lake!!!!!!!! Like stated above make sure your rpms stay at 8100-8200 at the start of the run and climb slowly to 8500 rpm at wide open!!!! Look for temp after the run on the clutches to make sure your not slipping. Use your hand and feel. Hot means you need to add a little more wrap or if you have black lines on the metal sheave!!! NOTE: a multi angle helix will help and it is a cinch to install....post add in the wanted section!!!!!

So this past week I ordered 54/44 helix, y-s-y spring and 4.5 gram rivets, have everything except hoping to get the primary spring this week. Ive put on close to 200 miles riding with an 03 f7 and an 09 f8 they both pull pretty good up to 80-90 and im pretty close with them and then we run out of room. So im really looking forward to trying this new clutch setup and ill be sure to post results! Another question i have is with that setup i currently have 144 studs and bender transfer rods it hooks up really good on hardpack but when the trails have a lil loose snow it doesnt do the greatest. So would you guys recomend 196 studs? I have the transfer rods sucked all the way up.
