I have a 97 mm with smart carb and I dont believe that you can do anything to change the jetting see it has #60 pilots and #160 main jet in it all ready. These are big jets and the electric solenoids do the rest of the work. The only way I can see changing anything is to elimanate the smart carb. I have wiseco piston in mine and have had a mrbp exhast can on it also with vforce 3 reeds and did nothing with the jetting.

when i got it new it never ran good, it had #45 pilot and 150 main
i recently changed it to #65 and 155 3rd clip it seems to run pretty good
it still isnt rite though

I know mine has 160 mains in it and maybe they are 65 pilots. I also have a SX600 now so I will be able to compare the two as soon as I get the SX out.

When you clean the smart carbs make sure the jets in the overflow tubes are cleaned. They are hard to find and are easily overlooked. The carbs do not work well without these cleaned and are usually plugged.

yes i cleaned those that thread into the vent tubes.
can you mix up the solenoids?the ones with the green tubes are on the bottom on mine
