Well decided to long track my SX-r. Now I got all the parts I need and I am just trying to figure out what length lug I can fit. If I take out the protectors since I wont be running studs, can I run a 1.75 or 2" paddle? And I figure I would need 8T drivers as well if I went with this, or what can i get away with without the new drivers?
8 tooth's for 2"
8's or 9's for 1.75" - it will clear 9's, but its tighter than some like
9's for everything smaller.
This is contingent on pulling the protectors. No idea if you try to leave them in or want to stud one.

If your going to trail ride in typical midwest conditions I would'nt go more than 1 3/8" even that will heat up in hard or low snow conditions plus much more than that just tears the trail to pieces, but some of that has to do with the operator and how its driven. If you ride mostly off trail 1 1/2" or more could be awsome.
I am probably just going to do a 1.5 with stock drivers for now and remove the protectors.
Anyone have any pics of a 136 SX or SXR with that size track?

That sled looks kick-***, just has a mean look. me likey. What was the reason for the drop brackets???
When it was 136'ed I had to suck up the limiters all the way to keep the hyfax from wearing out. In return that sucked the skid up way to far in the tunnel. So i added drop brackets to drop the skid back out of the tunnel for more clearance. That also cured my hyfax problem as well, I was able to let the limiters all the way out again after the drop brackets were installed..
Chadg- do you have your set at which height for the drop brackets?
Hey cole I did the 2.5 inch drop. which seems to be about perfect for me.
Thats what I have mine set at as well.
how is your suspension is it workin good or did it stiffin up on ya a little. I have not rode mine yet, but suspension seems to work great when i get on and off of it.....

When using the drop brackets do you need to drop the center skid mounts as well?
