98 600 XT, twin or tripple

I saw a black 98 600 XT is going to be auctioned off this weekend. Is this sled a tripple or twin? What do you think of this sled? Looking for another "guest" sled. I know it may need service but what problems would we expect? If it is a twin are these a reliable engine/drivetrain package? Al

Daman, so you think this model would be a good addition to the fleet? I really do not need it but I really like the looks of Black. I just thought this might be a good Guest sled. Al
 
Daman- that is a really really nice vmax 600xtc, thats the one my daughters boyfriend bought from you about a month ago, yeah he's just dying to ride it. LOL

Oh yea?,didn't know you were a member here,good talking to you again, yep i miss her to this day :( ,cant remove the pic just yet lol, hope he takes care of it it was babied and well taken care of,should serve him well.
 
I'm usually over on the 4 stroke side, remember I'm a 4 stroke freak!!!! lol
yea I don't blame for not taking the picture off yet nice sled, he's already washed and waxed it, not that it was even dirty thought, he'll take great care of it, if I get a chance this winter when he's riding yet I'll snap a couple pictures of it showing how he takes care of it, you made a first time rider very very happy and excited!!!! even thought its a 2 smoke, j/k lol they're
all great.
 
haha yep thats right ur 4 stroken it,sounds good yea, sounds like he's off to a great start with it,tell him no mess'en with it :) ,clutching is all dialed in for mileage oil pump set to around 50:1ish, great little trail sled. i'm glad he's happy with it. sounds like it went to a good home.

I did not get the 600 SX It did sell for a pretty high price though. The machine was in pretty good condition, it was just more than I wanted to spend for another guest sled. thanks for the input. Al
 
The sled was at the White Star Auction's in Bronson MI The sled was in very good condition, I did see a couple of the boggie wheels which would need attention but that was really it. I was hoping to pick up for around 1000 but it went for 1550. Oh well I really did not need it. Al
 
Was just curious, as there is a sled on ebay around (I'll call it) the tristate area of MI, IN, IL and was curious if this was the sled. Was just being nosey. T
