What horsepower is it?

I was just curious as to what the horsepower was on the standard exciters vs. the exciter sx. Anyone have an idea or maybe even an old magazine article with a dyno run? Why does Yamaha make awesome improvements to a model on the last year run i.e. 1997 vmax-4 800, 2002 srx 700, 1993 exciter sx, 2004 sxviper s ....

ALOT OF INTREST IN THIS MACHINE AS OF LATE. THE EXCITER SX WAS ONLY MADE IN 1993. THIS SLED WAS THE POOR MANS VMAX 4. IT SHARES ONLY NAME WITH PAST EXCITERS. THESE MOTORS HAD HIGHER COMPRESSION, MORE PORT TIMING, FLATSIDE CARBS, LARGER '' Y '' PIPE etc AND AWSOME LOOKS TO ADD UP TO 93 HP @ 7850. DYNOTECH TESTED MANY AFTERMARKET PIPES ON THE ENGINE, BEST SINGLE PIPE ADD ON WAS RIGHT AROUND 100 hp. BEST TWINS WERE PSI,s THAT MADE POWER AROUND 102. I LOVE MINE.
