Want to Raise Viper Seat by ~ 1 to 1.5"

I Want to Raise Viper Seat by ~ 1 to 1.5".
What do you guys think of 1" think gromets theaded the same as the original seat mounting bolts? Maybe add a couple more in the midle of seat for additional support.

$250 for a raiser that is only a wedge in the back or $450 for a BOSS seaat it not practical to me.

try a sheet of plexiglass the size of the seat bottom than ice and snow will not get in there.you could doulble up two half inch pieces and even mcgiver the seat material to staple on the bottom to hide the fact.ply wood works but will break down.
