I have an 2001 Srx 700 it has been giving the 7 blink code and went to do the normal power valve cleaning and adjustment and for some reason the Servo motor will not operate. I have tried the idle under 900rpms, hooked up 12v to servo, and even changed out the servo motor and still no luck. I noticed that with the 12v hooked up I can hear a very very faint humming noise coming from the servo motor. I was trying to check the blue relay that is behind the secondary clutch and I was wondering if for some reason that the relay is shot or if it could even be related to that. As for the rest of the sled its starts and runs fine just cant seem to figure out what the hell is going on. Any thoughts???????

You have a power issue with your stator. Same thing happened to me last year!

All right so I got to working on this sled finally and I ended up changing the stator with a brand new one as the the one it had tested to be out of spec. Upon changing this there was no difference with the servo motor working. It just barley wants to move when I connect a 12v source to it. So I removed the entire wire harness and found two wires that plug into the cdi box that were barley rubbed but never the less I repaired them and then continued to go through the entire harness until every thing was looked at. I am starting to think that the cdi box is bad a this point. I have tested the voltage at the plug for the servo motor and with the 12v source hooked up and there is only 4-5 volts at that plug. It seems its getting 12v going into the Cdi box but its not coming out of the Cdi to the servo motor with the full 12v thus making the servo motor barley turn. Anybody have any thoughts on this one?????
sounds like the cdi try to find someone that will let you use theres just for a second to see if thats your problem ...

I thought the same thing but can't find anyone around this area that has one that I could try might just have to buy a used one. I live in Deerfield WI which is close to Madison Wisconsin if anybody on here has one I could try!
