for a trail sled how important is the fish scale reading like in tech section it says 16-24 is good so is 45 bad? theres alot of talk about wrap but not so much about the fish scale reading just asking, want to learn more thanks :dunno:

Usually the fish scale is for pull on the track when setting track tension, but I just measure hang and have for a very long time.Wrap is generally the the setting for the secondary clutch spring tension, it has different holes to set the spring preload in there.Go to the technical pages and start reading, you'll learn a ton about these items and much more.

i know about the fish scale for the track but go to tech page clutch magic and read that and you will find him talking about measuring twist force of 16-24 lbs. that is what im talking about by hammer

can anyone help me clutch experts? heres the reason im asking i have a 96vmaxxt twin gyt pipe gyt head gasket, primary clutch has blue hawk spring,8abweights,17.2 rivits in both holes, secondary is hawk red wind is 9-2 helix is hawk k the twist preasure is 45/46lbs wot is 8500 and new oem belt, the problem is rpm is a little high and at low speed around 15/20 it will buck like when you are in too high a gear going to slow in a car, secondary shifting i thinking

IF I AM READING YOUR POST RIGHT, YOU HAVE THE HAUCK RED SPRING IN YOUR SECONDARY. YOU HAVE IT SET WRONG. TAKE IT BACK APART AND SET AT 2-0 WHICH IS 80 DEGREE. 3:16 (yammie tony)

that was what they told me to set it at, so what is 9-2 wrap percentage and what will happen if i put it at 0-2? bring down or up wot rpm, shift faster or slower? just asking trying to figure this out i saw another thread with the red spring question and that person said they told him the same thing as me and i did this last year to mine, im not argueing just asking so i know
