Got a viper about a month and a half ago and went right through it. It had when purchased hauck tripple pipes and a hauck clutch kit. I installed new rings, 21/38 gears, Front and rear heat exchange protectors along with the one for the tunnel, 1.25" track with 144 megabites, hauck quick adjuster transfer rod nuts, new slides, all new bearings on the cog shaft and drive shaft, 2" handle bar risers. Got to try it out last friday and WOW its pretty impressive. I went over My buddy's and he has a 2001 I think ZRT800 but couldn't get it started so I didn't have anything to compare it too when I went for ride. I've rode some fast sleds and this seems to be right up there. Was worried that the studs would hit the heat exchangers even with the protectors from what some people had said but seems to be alright. I tested this out when I was over my buddies and I took it in the pit he has behind his house and not paying attention I took it of a 6 foot cliff. Woke me up awfull quick but it didn't bottom and only saw light grazing on the front heat exchanger which I expected. Can't wait to see what this thing will do after this tank of premix is gone! Wanna race somethin

Be sure to check the color of the plugs and your piston wash at various throttle positions to be sure you are jetted properly before putting any long hauls on the engine.

how about piston wash, tells more of the story than the plug alone
