A SXR7 isn't going to run with F7. The 03's were the fastest but an 05 -06's aren't to be taken lightly. HP for the SXR is about 110-112, F7 is putting out around 140hp, if you port and pipe the SXR than it would be a different story, even just pipes the SXR would pick up 20-25hp but fuel mileage would go down and sound levels would go up. Do a search, there are a few things that will wake up the SXR but the F7 will still be out front.

on my sxr 700 with a can ,head gaskit mod,i take my buudys o6 till about55/60 then he pulls very slowly at about 100 he is 3 or 4 sleds ahead

Once I put my 1.25 track on, along with clutched and minor tweaks, I could holeshot my friends 04 SPF7, and from a 30 roll was bar-to-bar with another bud's Sponsor F7 for a 2 mile pull on a railroad grade (gps about 95mph, loose top snow).
