1998 2001 are the carbs the same

I have a set of 2001 srx700 carbs that i want to put on a 98 srx 700. the 98 has an aftermarket can. are they the same carbs?

Isn't the jetting on the '01 better than what came in '98? I have read that on here somewhere. That is how I have my '98 jetted. #1-150, #2-148.8, #3-148.8.

your '01 srx carbs have tps sensor on them, while the '98 carbs do not. the '01 carb will still work on the '98 tho.....only need to change main jets and pilot jets.

'01 jetting is better than '00 jetting. '98's and '99's have the mag side jetted richer, w/the dividers in the airbox.
