Just curious what brand belts you guys are using.
Also recomendation on stud length for 1 1/4" x 136 ripsaw.

Yamaha OEM tried alot of good aftermarket belts and for some reason they never hold up as well as the OEM...

I read that yamaha belts are quite hard, which is why they last so long, but that hardness also causes a lot of slippage. the 8DN anyway. I have always used oem belts also but was just wondering about others.

slippage is from a poor clutch setup

I oly run OEM 8DN belt in my little sxr700 red head......I have been in radar runs and get 116MPH with the stock belt. I am in the 120's for top speed with no slipage.
I would not trust any other belt in my sled.

Hartmans website recommends using a carlisle ultimax, that is why i'm asking. Maybe that is what they sell??
