For my SRX with a 1 inch Predator track I want to put on 144 studs. Some say 1.075 and others say 1.175 studs.I want to go with megabites with single and double alum backers. What is the recommended size here without harming exchanger. Original owner had studs on the stock track and I have had exchanger in front chewed and the tunnel.Very hesitant to use studs again, but for good traction and safety on icy areas I think it is a must.I imagine the track would have to be tightened up real good to.Your comments on studs would be appreciated..thanks.

hey blue your looking for a green leakage too lollllllllllllllllllll.....i put 1.075 and they hook real good

Haven't been able to test it out yet but I went W/ a 1 in hacksaw W/ 1.175 gold diggers. Hopefully no green

please let us know on the 1.175's

I was thinking more like 1.125 or 1.150

From what I've read and my experience, unless you're running a track with a full length 1" lug (i.e. the same height all the way across including/especially the window area), 1.075 is the limit unless you want to run the track too tight or worry about contact.

IMO - Keep the Pretator and go with 144 1.075" Woodys.
