01 SRX vs 07 Attak....wudda ya think???

I have a friend with an 07 Attak GT we both have some minor improvements: Both have Pre-Studded tracks, his is lowered for better cornering, mine is clutched for corner to corner acceleration. What do you guys think.....am I gonna get pulverized??? Where do I stand the best chance of takin him down 500ft, 1000ft???

i think you will be rite there with him ...my 98 kept up with a 06 apex gt til around 80 than he out powered me in the long run

Kind of a neat scenario since I own both. I was unable to open it up since we have a night time speed limit and that is the only time I was able to ride the Attak so far. I may have a better answer after the weekend is over with.

0-1000ft you will be within 5 sleds length but the longer you go the closer you will get.

The '01 SRXs were good runners no doubt but I have a buddy with a 2007 Attak GT and that thing is really fast. I am positive an SRX would have it's hands full with him. I have seen him take down alot of big iron so far.

I give the attack the edge,it will accelerate alot faster than the srx.All my srx's just spun like crazy out of the hole(even with studs and transfer rods).If its a long run you may be able to reel him in on the top end.

complete stock the apex but tune them in and the srx hands down.
There are many post on the same question here.
Look at all the et's from grass drags,ice drags,and speed runs the apex can't put the #'s down that the srx does.But for over all performance the apex hands down is a better trail sled except on flat groom trails.
