This is a problem I noticed last year and thought I had it cured with a new seal in the powervalve tower but I see that there's some oily residue in the servo on the pto side cable. Now I can't for the life of me remember if that was the tower I put the new seal in or not but either way it's making a mess so I guess I will try another seal and see if it goes away. The mess is also inside the powervalve tower housing too which leads me to believe it's the seal that is letting the exhaust blow by the valve.Has anyone else experienced this and if so what did you do to solve the problem?

lol never heard of this problem, did you replace #20?? how are the pv shafts, smooth??

I had the same problem on my 98 SRX6. If memory serves me, I replace all three #20s as daman pointed out in the MicroFische.
Yeah it was #20 that I replaced and it looks like it's time for another round of seals I guess. The valve shaft seems to be in good enough shape that the seal should be doing it's job but it it obviously isn't.Or I could do like bluemonster1 says and replace the sled
