Check your cdi... but it can be a rub through in the wiring harness? was there anything going funky on the sled before it had no spark?
did you check the plug caps to see if they are working... also could be the coil

yea i would dout all 3 went bad but yea.. hmm not 100% sure on this one... will haveto wait till a more knowledgable member chims in...
The good news is it doesn't sound like an intermittent problem...they can be the hardest to find.
The fact that it worked when you parked it with, I am assuming, no apparent problems leads to a couple possibilities:
-have some rodents been snacking on your wiring?...of course they would do that under the engine, or out of sight, where you can't see the damage!
-has your stator rusted over enough that it is not working...it could still test out OK electrically
-CDI boxes usually give some previous warning before they quit working but I would try to pickup or borrow a known good CDI and install it to see if thats the problem [ if it were me I would have a spare CDI for a 2000 as its the only year of that CDI and eventually they may be hard to find...I have two spares for my 2002 SRX for the same reason... JMO ]
-I would doubt its the coils but it could be the wiring to them.
-check the wires under the pad
-did the sled sit outside all summer + possibly get wet...there could be water or corrosion in one of the connectors or switches
