Finally broke down and started up the sleds yesterday and gave the lawn a good thatching. My 04 viper with cpr trips has some oil leaking from the PTO pipe. This is the first time it was fired up. I did clean the PV and all the cables are within spec. In fact the oil cable is on the lean side around 22MM. Should i worry about this or do i just need to run it and clean out the pipes? Sled is new to me but did not notice this when i bought it.

on a 2stroke its normal, just try and get a better exhaust to flange seal.

is it coming from the end of the pipe or at the head? Its possible its just oil from being fogged/stored properly

like said above could be just a bad seal and excesive oil,run it some if still doing it you may have a simple gasket going south.

Been done times 10. Skids, carbs, exhaust, ski's (toe and ext....). I cant think of anything left but to run them and see how they go. The 04 with the mods i am a little nervous about untill i can see some proper plug and jet wash. Thats the one ill just have to go and keep an eye on.
