HEy guys, I have a question about my hand warmers. 2002 SRX is the sled.

They get warm but not hot. Not like the thumb warmer, it will burn! Are the hand grips somewhat burned out? like, how hot did they get brand new? Should I just replace the stock grips? Are they pricey??

Should i replace with BETTER aftermarket heated grips????

I seem to always have cold hands. Any help appreciated thanks.

use oems, mine on my 00 are blistering hot, i usually ride with just thin mechanic gloves unless it gets below 0f. i too have hands that get cold easy (feet too) and the oems are plenty hot for me. my .02

ok thanks, this is my second srx and my last one(2001) they didn't work at all. This sled they seem to take 10 mintues or so to warm up down the trail and they are always on high.

Mine were very cold tonight in -5 F on the open trails. Once I got back to the ditches and was in and out of the trottle they got to hot to hold. Then back on onen trail they got cold again. Just figured it has something to do with the amount of RPM the motor is running.
Anyone else seen or have this problem?

so would you guys just check out that the variable resister is sending 12 volts to the handlebar?

If I were going to replace these grips what have you guys used other than stock grips??? thanks
