I think it has to do with premix also. I am NOT a fan of running premix as well as the oil injection. it is just not required. 2 strokes take half an hour to break in anyway. You need full fuel as the oil will not cool the enigine the way it needs to be.

I think im going to put some octane boost in it for and top it off with 91 octane
They don't sell 93 octane up there?

yep 87 89 91 here in maine, i mix 5 gallons of 100LL to 15 gallons 91

91 is not premium? According to my Yamaha manual it is. Agreed that there are other higher octane fuels available (i.e. 93 BP and 94 Sunoco), but 91 octane is considered premium and is about the highest you'll find on the trail (with a few exceptions).

As already stated, the pre-mix is prob causing it to run lean. Run out that tank and fill back up with 91 and see what happens...
