Plaistow Powersports in Plaistow, NH. In stock. They had 5 last week, so they likely still do. It was at 90% charge when I got it which was good. $130, which wasn't crazy after looking around a bit.

Do the test mentioned above regarding battery voltage before and after running.
I had the same problem with my 2004 viper after checking the stator the problem endid up being the chassy ground wire that is by the power valve actuator or the left side of the sled was a little rusty cleaned and reatached got my lights back and tack. So check that when you get a chance. alvipers

Left side when sitting on it right? I think I know the area you're talking about. Something good to check...

the battery is required with the elec start models, as the battery is the smoothing condensor in the wiring. it will produce the symtoms of a flashing guage if the battery is defective.
also a easy way to see if the stator is good is to put a digital voltmeter on the battery, check the voltage before starting it, be around 12.5-12.8 volts fully charged then start it up and check again if its under 12 volts, the stator is weak on output and using the battery to help run everything.
I just wanted to circle back and say thanks! I just got around to checking my voltage to check the stator. About 12.6 before starting, and 13.82 while running. Seems to me the stator is doing just fine! Thank you again.
