You need to crank up the spring preload a bit and the compression adjuster should be on the front end of the shock just below the spring. It is a red aluminum dial, it has 40 clicks of adjustment, I think turning clockwise makes it stiffer, but you will have to turn it all the way to really notice. I got mine re- valved stiffer and it is set half way and is still very plush. The control rod affects the weight transfer, turn CCW to increase transfer, CW to decrease. Also my front limiter strap is pulled all the way in, still lifts the skis on hard acceleration. This skid is really plush and they are not set up for bigger guys. I hope this helps.
