daman..NEED YOUR HELP BUD

lets get technical now.I used a plastic jug from Canada that is marked in liters. If I fill up to 1 liter mark and then take the gas and pour it into an Amsoil empty bottle..I only fill to the 850 ml mark on the bottle. And that bottle is American markings. What gives now.......

lol
is that the technical method
yeah i dont know why its that far off either, i'm sure theres a little transfer loss left from one jug to the next but not that much,
maybe amsoil has there own special unit of measure lol

it all boils down to this blue...I used a plastic jug from Canada that is marked in liters. If I fill up to 1 liter mark

you got one 1 liter of fuel thats all that matters. dont worry about the ams jug.

19 liters x 850 ml = 16,150 ml divided by 1000 ml(liter) gives me 16.15 liters now. That comes to 3.55 gal Can. I have to get a proper measure cup and get an accurate liter reading and go from there...but that means then I am 47.5 to 1 ratio

well I took a measure cup from the kitchen and it seems that the Canadian jug here measure 1000ml(1 liter) perfectly.Anyways we are going with ml for accuracy..so 19 liters(19,000 ml) divided by 4.54 liters(1 Can. gallon) gives me 4.185 gallons used with 12 oz oil. 4.185 gallons(19,000 liters)=678.57 oz.

678.57 divided by 12 oz oil = 56.54 to 1 ratio.
I will set my cable to 19 mm from 20mm..should be good then.Sorry for all the figures..loll

your over thinking this buddy

plain and simple.. you used 19l(5 gals) of gas right??....and burning that 19l(5gals) you used 12 ozs of oil right?

thats 53.3:1

here we go again

just double checking, haven't touched any settings from the last time..
I used 27 liters of fuel and approx 24 oz of oil. That 27 liters =5.947 gallons of fuel. What is my ratio again...
I know my gas mileage has gone up from 8 mpg to 11 mpg now..that is great.

27 liters is 7.1 gal not 5.9 gal.

so 27 liters(7.1 gal) to 24 ozs oil is 37.8:1,,too rich.....

daman our gallon here is 4.54 liters. 27 liters divided by that gives 5.9 or 6 gallons. I am still rich,so I bumped up cable from 19 to 21mm.
I will let you know how the SRX is doing with the oil by the weekend, hopefully will have everything back together. But did check the gap on the cable and the SRX is set at 17 mm..go figure how I have it seemingly set so rich..good for the bearings at least..lol

Don't know what to tell ya blue according to my conversion calculator 27 liters is 7.1 gal. :dunno:

anyway you too rich yet

ok daman..I know I am rich yet.Just topped up sled again. This time going in ml only.
Poured in 35 liters of gas=35000 ml
Poured in 820 ml of oil

35000 ml divided by 820 ml = 42.68..still rich. Cable is at 21 mm gap

finally there

well after yesterdays ride, the SXR came in at 53:1 at 22 mm setting,so will drop setting to 21mm as harness said.
And the SRX came in at 49:1 at 19 mm setting..this one will stay.I could drop it 1 mm just to play it save and make sure she is getting a little more oil because I always pin it..
What do you say daman..not to bad...
