I just bought a used 01 sx 600 and when I was riding it around the yard it seemed that the clutch engaugement was really high. What would be the best setup for this sled? I plan on doing the silencer mod but other than that leaving it stock.Thanks

8ab's with 2.4 in the middle hole, 51/43 helix wrapped to 70* and drop 1 tooth in the chaincase. Use the stock springs

how high is "really high" 3800-4000rpm is around normal for a 01' sx-600r
I would say around 4000 seemed sorta high compared too my 01 700.

My 2000 SX600r comes in at around 4200. My owners manual says 4200 is right. Also I have the clutch setup described above without the gear change.

yea that engagement sounds about perfect, and the 700 is close to that too.
