I always thought that the front end of my wife's 2000 SXR 600 sat low to the ground. Over the weekend, the neighbor kid had his girlfriend up with her 2000-2001 Vmax 500 and it looked like it sat higher. You could see that the angle of the radius rods were more parallel to the ground on the SXR compared to the Vmax. I thought that they were the same suspension except for the shocks. I would like to raise up the front on her sled some and plan on installing a set of drop brackets after the season. Any thoughts?

Some one could just have messed with the spring tension adjuster(that ring nut)on your wifes, theres a spec for stock settings, 213mm from spring end to spring end, thats standard setting.
