Ok sorry for asking now.

Me and my little bother got the same sled in 2000 and now that I'm selling my sled his is running like poo.

First we thought it was the carbs so we pulled them and cleaned them, put it all back together and it is still running like poo.

It fires up and will not hole a Idle at all let of the gas and it will die the pluges are coming out black and wet and when you take off it sounds like it is poping till you get over 5500rpms. And it has alot of somke. It is stock and we have done the samethings to are sled and his is running like poo.lol

Check the plug caps, and maybe reclean the carbs in case you missed something.
 
when you pull the pilot air/fuel screws out count the turns should be about 1 and 1/2. clean this circuit very good and the pilot jets run a some thin wire through the jets.
 
Same thing happened to mine. Wouldn't idle and would backfire until it got over a certain RPM. Had the carbs cleaned, they were very dirty, problem fixed.
 
If you go to a welding supply store they have foldable sets of wires that work great for cleaning carbs. They use them to clean oxyacetylene tips.

It was his choke cable it was cut and at full choke the hole time. We never look at that when we had it out to clean the crabs thank guys
