How to change plugcaps ??

Well this might sound stupid to some but one of my plugcaps need to be changed, I got NGK ones and one of them doesn't stay on the plus for some reason.
How to I go changing it ?

If you have enough length, you may want to snip off the last 1/4" - to get a better contact. Sometimes the inner ends are corroded.

How do you know if the cap is bad?

Will the plug not spark at all, or just not all the time?

Test it with an ohm meter. Should be at 5k

Hello Yamaha brothers!

Last week I ordered new caps to my SRX 700 -98 since two of the NGK caps installed was in bad condition.
I looked up the part number (81E-82370-30-00) in th yamaha.com parts catalog, but the yamaha dealer i ordered them from told me that these has been replaced whith 8dg-82370-00-00.
Today I found out that there is a third cap, 8DF-82370-00-00 (for -99-02). What is the difference between these caps and what about the NGK caps?
