what reverse for srx

i want to add reverse to my 2001 srx 700. I see everyone talks about getting the Viper kit. I can get the complete setup from a 98 vmax 700 red triple. would this work on my srx. i know the mods to make it work i read. but would the lever assy,cover and gears, chains all swap over? thanks!

yes hyvo and non hyvo ....your newer srx has hyvo i think ....vmax is non hyvo
