Who the hell gets loaded then gets on a sled to race? I'm pretending I didn't read that.

My buddy has a 08 Yamaha Nytro 130 hp 3cyl FI, crazy low end and pulls all the way to 100 ish then stops. From what ive read these sleds are 0-100 sleds so good luck catching him in 1000 ft pending on the hook up factor

alot of studs and engaging the clutch at between 4,000 - 5,000 is what youl need. they may not catch you in 1000 feet, pick a good hard launch pad.

Buddy of mine has a 08 nytro all stock except for a slip on muffler. we were going down the trail cruzing at like 40 a he help it a little before i hit mine and he jumped ahead like 2 sled lengths, then at like 80 or 90 i krept by him about 2 lengths. my viper has slp triples with max performance heads and stock clutching expept for 8dn-20 weights. it jumps to 8800 or so in the right temps. didnt really see the tach when we raced but might have been a tad low
Did the race happen yet?

Went out today. The ZRT 800 that had the 1000 in it was quite the junk yard sled as i thught he had 300 steel studs in it and we all smoked him. It actually had tiger shark jet ski pistons in it. Oh yeah he blew it up.

The nytro was quick but had no studs so he didn't really race. Me and my 2 other buddies raced a couple time though on had a zrt800 not the moded one but it had a silencer on it and a high flow air box and 244pics and the F7 had 168 down the middle. both of them had alot more stud protrution. They got me on the ice I just wasnt hooking up. My sled would just spin. I have 144 1.325 with a 1.250 track. They both got a good hole shot and the F7 jumped out in front of my buddies ZRT by about 2 sled lengths and I was about 2 too 3 behind the zrt. so a little later I figured I'd try a spot where the sun wasn't hitting the snow and mine actually hooked up getting the skis to lift. we raced only 2 runs here but I smoked him bad but it was only against the zrt. I didn't get to race the F7 in this stuff because this is when my other buddies jetski slash ZRT blew up. I feel if I would have hooked up the way I did those 2 runs it would have been real close. Like I said when we lined up on the ice they where only seperated by 2 sleds and I had that zrt by a good 3 if not more.

This F7 is a fast one like I had said he has a couple of race sleds and brings it and races in the stock class. I was up there for 2 of them and he won in the stock class all the way up to the 1000's and another time only lost to I can't remember if it was a F1 or a Z1 so like I said this thing does fly. he was racing 660 when I was watching

I've got the hauck tripple pipes and it does have a hauck 2ndary helix. I just bought it and rebuilt the top end took it out a couple times and seems to be running real good. The rpms at 9100 are real high compared to what everyone else is sayings theres are running at but I talked to hauck and they said 8900 too 9200 also 21/38 gearing also 144 studs. My buddies 05 F7 bought it as a leftover last year and is bone stock other than 198 studs but he got a fast one. The yamaha nytro is also bone stock has 144 studsand the ZRT 800 has 1000 motor in it with pipes clutch kit and like 300 studs its kind of a junk yard sled but claims its the fastest thing out there. These are the only sleds that I think would be real competition. Any thoughts?
Just curious, do you have the early Hauck pipes or the current Hauck pipes. The early ones were Simons CPR pipes and the current ones are AAEN pipes. I think the CPR's are faster on top end.

And I ride blue for this reason.

My SRX pulls from the moment you hit WOT until you let off! I don't have any lakes to run on, but I swear it never stops pullin!

The AAEN pipes have a AAEN text in them clearly visible, at least in one pipe IIRC.
