I was just wondering if anyone has had a clutch get extremly pitted to a point where you can stand over it and see it clearly, the mechanic said to get a new primary but someone mentioned that they could lathe it for me, the mechinc said you could do that but it would coast as much to have that done as getting a new primary inless someone can do it for you. My question is what would cause the primary to be so pitted when it has 1200 miles on it? It was in some bad accidents where he broke a trailing arm, bent a a-arm and where the trailing arm connects by where your feet go their is a indent where he had to re-attach the trailing arm? any ideas on what would cause this/if lathing the primary out will make it run good again? thanks, Luke...I love TY!
