Well then, will the skis / front suspension / windshield off the phazer bolt up to the SRV? What about the track? That's the only way it's getting fixed - i'm about done buying sled parts for a while, and I know the phazer is cherry except the motor. And the general appearance, but that doesn't bother me.
I can handle a can of worms. Worst case, I end up with what I have now - two sleds to part out.
Right now, it's sounding like I just have to build a couple motor mounts, unbolt the hood, hook up power and fuel, and go. What am I missing?[/QUOTE]
Clutching - It likely will have to have some changes, and the clutch parts you have from both clutches may not be right. Gearing will probably also need to be different - you may be able to mix and match gears - if they are the same - and then the chain length may have to be changed.
CDI box from the SR-V will have to be used and there will be wiring changes.
Exhaust - will have to be SRV muffler to match the motor. It may not fit in right and the mount may need to be changed.
Jetting may need to be changed. Moreso if the SR-V airbox will not fit in and you run without it.
Cooling air intake duct may not work the same. It should be ducted to outside air.
Tachometer.
Not saying that it can't be done or that you are wrong to do it, but to let you know some things to be aware of. Projects like that usually end up being much more complicated than they appear to be at first.
