I took my 98 SX 600 twin out for a trail ride tonight and the sled runs great at WOT and idles fine and start up on 2-3 pull when cold sitting outside. My only concern is that while trail riding and the engine running about 4800 to 5000 rpms there is what I call a hesitation ( not a BOG ) a part throttle and sometimes you can hear a little pop noise out the exhaust above 5000 rpms when you hit the throttle you better be hanging on cause its going. What could be causing this? I have 151.3 mains and 45 pilot jets in it the fuel screw is set at 1- 1/2 turns out Will changing the pilots up a size correct this issue? Not sure where my needles are set at going to look tommorow at that Would raising the needles one notch help? I did a plug check tonight half way thru my short ride and they look like there burning very good. Or do I have a cluthcing issue? My clutch engages at 4000 rpms and I have 8AB and a green spring in my secondary at 60 degrees with a 51/43 helixs my gearing is 22/39 Any thoughts
Thanks
