I have been playing around with clutching on my sled, have 8dn-20's in now 4.5 in each hole, 14.5 rollers, www spring, 52/42 dalton helix, green spring at 80. revs to 8500 instantly on accel and climbs to 8700ish. what is the best way to get this to come down a little, adding weight to the tips, or sould I add a tooth to the top gear? Forgot to mention, all stock 98 msrx. clutches are cool, no black marks. the sled actually goes faster at like 3/4 throttle than wfo.
Thanks

Your helix & secondary wrap is all wrong. Don,t know where u came up with that combo???? You need to back to red secondary spring at 70 wrap with stock 47 helix & your rpm,s will be a lot closer. Whoever cam up with your set up(wasn,t me!!) has no clue!!!
