In the past i had an issue with my carb linkige being a bit out of rig with the tors switch. To troubleshoot it I pulled the wires apart at the carb rail, there are two wires all you need to do is disconnect them and see if the problem goes away. In my case it was an 01sxr700 but the srx appears to be the same. Good luck. I must also caution you that the tors is to prevent the throttle from sticking open. After you disconnect it you have no protection from a stuck throttle.

thors is the throttle overide system ....it will cut cut out motor to keep it from being a ghost sled .....over ride it and drive the sled and see if it still cuts out ? when u say cut out you means just loses rpm`s or like it has been shut off for just a second ?

you also have to connect the 2 wires on the harness side together, not just unplug
thanks guys ya when i say cut out the engine bogs and loose rpm's and will stay bogging/and won't rev unless the revs fall below 3000 rpm then she'll go again wierd i say. so i will try your suggestions on tors now that i know what it is and see what happens, I'll keep u posted again thanks

It's theTORS bug.... Make sure your throttle cable has some slack in it. Soc
