8CR-13100-01-00 is the Yamaha oil pump. Problem is, it's about $200 new. I would look for a used one.
The cylinders are coated with nikisil coating so it more than just boring the clyinder and installing bigger pistons. I would get some OEM or Wiseco pistons and send them and your cylinders to Millenium Tech. in Plymouth WI and they will redo your cylinder or if they have some on the shelf for your sled they will exchange them. But you have to send them piston with cylinder and they will fit the pistons to the cylinders for you and then all you will have to do is set the piston ring end gap. If you need any more help feel free to ask. Also dont be to rough on getting piston off the rods you could damage something they make a piston pin puller. You should also tear apart the crankcase and have the crank checked for run-out and clean the bearings and case and install new seals. If you can check the crank for run-out I am sure you local dealer can. Might as well do the job right the first time.

Yep, they are not cheap. That is about what mine cost, for the same part.
Don't get a used one from a 97, get one from 98 as the 97's had major problems with oil pumps. Some were covered under warranty, some not. If you find a 97 with a supposedly good oil pump the part number is different for the new style. You can look up the old PN to verify that you don't buy one of those, but if it has been updated, to the new PN, then that would be OK.

is this the right oil pump???

i am no expert but that oil pump looks pretty dirty to olny have 300 miles on it ....the one piston kinda looks new but the second one looks pretty bad but the burn down could have caused it to look that bad .....10 to 15 thousands sounds like alot ...but i know with cast bores the clearence is bigger but 10 to 15 sounds too big ...oem pistons are for niscal cylinders ...but the tolerance is tighter so the piston would have been slightly bigger making your tolerance too tight ...i belive ...and to change the oil pump i would have removed the motor being all the work ...thus seeing the case was cracked ....almost like on the last burn down something got into the bottom end and got wedged between crank wheels and cracked the case ?? either way i belive you wasnt told everything you should have been ....this is just my opnion so take what you want from it ...
