97 trailing arm

hey,im looking for a trail;ing arm for a 97 sx700.the right side.will one from a 98 vmax xt work? what about others? thanks al

Check the stamping on the front of the trailing arm. Make sure they match, if they do then you should be OK. They are stamped with a number on the front where the spindle goes through. The different stampings indicate different cambers, etc.
