Viper high idle ?

I remember my sled idling high last year after running it hard. Had to choke it for a couple seconds to drop the idle back to normal. Does anyone have a fix for this I would like to fix it while I'm waiting for snow. Thanks TD
 
bring your idle down to 1100-1200 and it should stop sticking ...
 
Turn the fuel mixture screws out approx 1/8-1/4 turn (rich'en the mixture) will help. Some what of a normal condition though. Fuel screws are the ones on the bottom of the carbs, near the intake boot. Kind of a pain in the a$$, pretty much have to pull the carbs off to do it.
 
When i tried adjusting my fuel screw to get my sled to idle lower, I lost some throttle response from a stop, now I just live with the higher idle and flick the choke on when i stop to drop the revs to where they are supposed to be.
 
Do the fuel mixture screws only adjust low rpms or all the way through. I think the stock jetting is fat as is, wouln't want to make it any richer mid-topend.
