Help Me Hit 8500 Please!
Hi all...
I am running a 02 SRX with Benders Heel Clicker clutch kit, Bender trail ported cylinders, Bender cold air intake and 1.5" non studed track. If 8500 is ideal could someone help me hit that? Right now can only get 8100 out of it.
Stock gearing
Jetted between 01 -02 specs, 148.8, 147.5, 147.5
Primary;
Weights... 2002 Heel Clicker
Rivits... 4.8gr on heel, 5.5gr center, 1gr tip
Spring... Red Heel Clicker
Shims... No
Rollers... 15.6
Secondary;
Helix... Bender 2070 (I believe it to be 47/43)
Spring... White / Blue
Setting... 80deg
Thanks in advance,
ChrisP

that's a question right there for bender and while on the phone, they should be able to tell you what to setup those heel clickers too, for the correct rpm.

w/ bender trail port cylinders & cold air kit @ 0 - 2000' you need a miniumum of 155 mains on pump gas. if it was mine i would run 157.5's.
you can't be correct on the secondary spring twist. that is a gorilla strong spring. it would take 2 good sized guys to twist it to 80 degrees. it should be @ 30 degrees.

Just for everyone's clarification on the Jetting...that jetting ,for a cold air kit, is with Vents in the Airbox...correct?
Don't want to confuse anyone.
Thanks everyone for the posts... Talked with Gerry at Bender and he set me straight on the seconday... 0 on helix and 3 on secondary = 30deg. I had it set at 6 on the helix and 2 on the secondary. Hitting 8400 - 8500rpm now. All is well and the 2 skidoo 800r's that gave me a little trouble will give it no more!

Nice. I'm glad you are running again. Enjoy.
If setting is 30 degree wrap he is using an artic cat secondary spring.

The secondary spring came with the Bender clutch kit, white/blue.
