Just realized one of my spark plug wire caps is all chewed up and that plug is a mess. Any trick to changing these? Looks like the wire is hard wired into the coil?

Thanks

they are on there with a threading type connection, just twist them off if they are the new style ignition plug wires and caps. ski

You can also get yourself an NGK splice kit as well, ...most automotive outlets.

The plug wires are epoxied into the coils. They are fairly easy to get out...just give it alittle workin' and pull. It'll come out and you'll notice a little pin in the hole. Get yourself some nice NGK replacement wires and glue them back in place. The NGK splice kit looks alittle messy under the hood. I did mine a few years ago..no problems yet...

They look like stock 98 SRX plug wires. What part is threaded?
