hey , im looking for some help here. i was clippin along down the local trails and hit a bit of a rut in the trail , broke the rivets on my front heat exchanger protectors and it pretty much ripped my track in half down the middle ! so basically wat im looking for is some info on which type of track would be better for my type of riding ! im looking for an aggressive trail style track , something that will hook up out of the hole and i wont loose much top end ! i was leaning towards a 1" track with 144 studs down the middle , so let me know if thats a good setup and which brand of track and studs will work best ! any help would be great !

Just make sure it's a camoplast track. Stay away from the other. 1" with 120-144 woodys down the middle is all you need for trail riding.

Yea... jordan just dont do what my track has lol!... 1.25inch with 196... kills the top end...

Im tempted to trade it in for something else after this year... a new non studed 1inch track for a 1.25 track with all 196 studs on it that has very little km's on it...

check these guys out for a track... http://2koolperformance.ca/sled_werx/index.htm

Their track selection start half way down the page about...

alright man thanx for the info , n yea man i found that track for 30 bucks thats mint wit studs, and a tail light for 15 bucks !

Ripsaw is the way to go. Just installed a second one on mine. I'm not a fan of studs for most of the riding I do. Our trails around here are rarely icy.

another question for yea , is it bad to run wit no stud protectors in front over cooler in front ?

wat size is ur track ? 1.25"
Ripsaw is 1.25". I removed the front protectors and haven't had any issues. It has a few small nicks in it, but probably from rocks that the protectors wouldn't have stopped. If you do plan to run studs, you need the protectors in place.
