Im thinking of going riding out around the Tremblant area. Some of us are thinking of sledding and the rest snowboarding.
You think its worth hauling the sled out for a friday evening ride and maybe a saturday evening trip? Pass looks like it is 90$ for three days seems a little steep to me.
anyone been out there and think this is an opportunity not to pass up?

John: I have been riding in Quebec since 1997. It is like no other place on earth for speed and flat trails. Tremblant is not sled frendly and they closed our beloved railroad bed a few years ago. Go to Mount Laurier, stay at the Hotel Senater and ride North. You will not be disappointed.

I have ridden into the Tremblant Park area but I've heard some of the trails in there have been closed. I have also been to the Lanaudière/ Laurentides region. The Americans think our trails are good, I think the Quebec trails are even better. Mont Laurier is flat in areas but there are still some mountains like Devil's Montain or "Mont Diablo" Haven't been there yet this year so I don't know what the conditions are like but they usually have lots of snow. When we go we usually leave from our place about an Hour outside of Toronto on a wednesday night and drive to Pembroke just into Quebec and stay the night. Then we ride from hotel to hotel from thursday to saturday night. Come back to the truck for Sunday and Drive home. They have a website FCMQ just search on google.
If it was me, I'd be wanting to go more then just a couple nights as there is a lot of trails to ride. I also snowboard, I think I'd pass up on the boarding though. Been to Tremblant to snowboard, its usually crowded which I hate. But I'm a snowboarder and we all know snowboarders hate skiers and those guys can ski!
