Here's one thats got me stumped.Took my 96 500xt out for the first ride of the year ,when i brought it back to the stable, I opened the hood and found antifreeze on the insde of the hood between the light/ pod opening and the sound suppressor. Not alot and it looked like it has been sprayed up in there. The thing is ,is that I cant, for the life of me, find where its coming from. The motor is dry as is all the hoses and water pump area. It dosn't do it while idling . I watched it for 20 min. idling and no leaks anywhere. But as soon as go for a ride and i check it ,there it is more coolant on the inside hood ,always in the same spot. Everything around it is dry!! Also theres no coolant in the overflow. If i put some in there it stays. It dosn't get sucked back into the system. I'm obviously building preasure up and its squirting out from somewhere, but why? and How? The sled hasn't overheated, I just have to put coolant in once in a while . I have never seen anything like this. How bout you guys ...anyone seen this before?

You wonder if it is a bad coolant cap, (not holding pressure) and it blows out a little when it reaches a higher pressure when you are riding, but not when idling...
I would swap caps and see if it happens again..
