78 SRX tach cable location?

Trying to hook up a tach cable to my 76 SRX with a 78 motor. Can't find where the tach cable connects at the motor area. I was surprised to find that the speedo cable connects to the water pump.

no, the tach cable connects to the water pump, not the speedo.

I tried that first and the tach didn't budge. Guess I'll take a second look.

Either way, where is the connect point for the other cable?

Haven't had much luck getting new ones. I found 3 aftermarket ones at a swapmeet last year. Bought them all. If you do find a source for them let us know.
