I like this idea out of all of them. The cat looks sweet

I knew a guy that tried that and his wife had written down the registration numbers of the sled!!! Didn't go over so well, but was a good idea and worth the try!
what did you end up doing?

that cat has to be a blast asn if tuned right those thundercat 1000s were one of the most relaiable cats ever made my dad has the stock one 6000 miles still 120 across an spanks alot of sleds
Tough choice you've got. #3 sled gott'a go. Can't run with the rest of the big dogs in your stable.
I can't believe that I'm telling you to get rid of a Yamaha sled over a Arctic Cat, but that Cat does look like a keeper.
Cheers,
Boomer

I too have a couple more sleds than needed. Really tragic part is I have lost engines on both Yamahas this year and no problems except a drive axle bearing in the cat for the last two years.
Other reason I keep the cat is the gawd awful speed! 1996 ZRT 800 tricked out motor with 136 track and geared down to 90mph. Acceleration wise it makes my Apex look like a Phazer
I agree with others here, if you have to lose one make it a Viper.

I actually combinde the two vipers and sold the rest of the parts, I put the 780 motor and chameleon hood in the mtn viper and added tripple pipes and sold off the rest of the stuff from the 780 shorttrack chassis and the stock engine and hood from the mtn sled
