Question on 2001 SRX

I have a stock 2001 SRX with 98 cylinders & Heads on it...and was going to throw it together for trail riding... Could I take .20 - .30 off the heads and redue the squish... What should the squish be for pump gas ?? 55-60 ?? Would like to bring the compression up to 135 p.s.i around 118 now

cylinders have around 2500 km's on them since re-nickasiled Well cylinders are off and getting re-glazed...One pistons is new with new rings and 2 pistons are used not sure on km's but in good condition..going to check the rings
