Looking to put an electric start on a 96 vmax xt 600. Had a offer for a electric start off a 97 vmax sx600. The part #'s are not the same but looking for any input if this will work on my 96 or not. Thanks guys!!
no it will not , you need electric start from 94-96. the starter ring on 94-96 is on the flywheels , while 97 and newer its on the back side of the primary.
