Took the sled out again today and noticed it making a sort of rumbling noise as youre going along. Figured the track might have been too tight so I brought it back in the garage and re did it. Took it back out, same noise. Only way I can think of to describe it, is if youve ever had aggresive mud tires on your truck, when youre slowing down...that noise/vibration. Also, when the track seems tight, its starting to compress the transfer rods. It will go from zero gap to about 1/8" gap when the track is tightened. Is that normal? and any ideas what the noise may be? Bearings are all good, just swapped in a diff track this year.
Track is a .920(I think) Viper track w/ 144 studs.
