the bolts that hold your wieghts in there are set screws there what are they for and is there suppose to be back and forth play???

The purpose of the set screws is to prevent the sleeve from turning. The sleeves or bushings are hardened steel. You want the roller which have a fiber type bushing in them, to turn on the hardened sleeve. Without the set screws, it would be possible for the hardened sleeve to turn in the aluminum holes in the clutch body. This would result in the aluminum holes getting larger and therefor sloppy. You need to have the set screws tightened down against the hardened bushings and use blue loctitie on them.

suppose to have play
