Removing cylinders...have questions

Taking my heads and cylinders off to add base gaskets and do the cut and lift mod on my 99 SRX. Need to know if I will have to take my reeds and carbs off in order to get the cylinders off? What are the torque specs for the cylinder bolts? Thats all....for now. Thanks guys!

Carbs should come off, reeds and cages can stay. Torque spec is in the TY Tech pages under engine, in simple specs.

why would you have to take the carburetors off?

you wouldnt have to but, I do just to keep things out of the way....you are correct if you are just pulling the Head and Cylinders you could really leave the carbs on, that are attached to the crankcase....sorry to many questions...
