Have a 700 redtop engine without any eletrical (stator, cables) Have a srx 600 -98 with blown engine. Can I take the redtop engine and put it in the srx with srx stator, cdi and all that? If dont why?
NOPE bulk heads are different motor mounts dont match up ...alot of work to change bulkheads ....electrical i dont think are the same either ...you are trying to put a redhead motor in a srx correct

Motor mounts and that are not a problem for me. just the electrical. Yamaha factory racing machine used srx electrical in sxr 760 racer -01. I need to know whats the different betveen this two electrical system.
