After riding 100 miles last night here in Northern Iowa we ran into heavy fog. My HJC helmet with the heated face sheild was no match for the freezing fog. The only fix I had to get home was to leave hand warmers on high and then put my hand on the sheild about every minute and then pull the ice to the side.
Anybody know of or have a better way to deal with heavy freezing fog when you are 100 miles from home. Does anyone make a better facesheild that might get a little hotter for these conditions???
